En iyi sıkıştırma programlarından biri olan WinRAR’ın İngilizce yeni beta sürümü. Programa eklenen sihirbaz, yeni kullanıcılar için güzel bir yenilik. Sıkıştırma algoritması geliştirilmiş ve şifreleme algoritması olarak da 128 bit kullanılmış. Dosyaları sıkıştırarak yada sıkıştırmadan e-posta ile gönderme özelliği de eklenmiş. Seçilen (sıkıştırılmış) birkaç dosyanın kopyalanması ve başka bir klasör içerisine yapıştırılması (açılarak) özelliği de ilave edilmiş. CAB, ARJ, LZH, TAR, GZ, ACE, UUE, BZ2, JAR, ISO desteklediği biçimler arasında olup yeni sürümde 7zip formatına da destek verilmiş. SFX arşiv oluşturarak *.EXE uzantılı da sıkıştırmalar yapabiliyorsunuz.

Bu sürümde sıkıştırma hızı daha da yükselttirilmiş. Winrar arabirimi komut satırını tam olarak destekliyor.
